As a child I was influenced by so much hip hop that in my mind the place of birth of the artist making the music had no bearing on whether I would like or dislike him. It wasnt uncommon for me to play a Screw Tape, then take it out and put in a Black Moon cd or Goodie Mobb, then play Spice-1 then play Wu-Tang, then play 3-6 Mafia.. You should get my drift by now, Trill Hip Hop is overcoming perceived limits placed on southern artists. I was born In Texas raised in Texas my family is from Texas, my son is from Texas.. Im a Texas nigga through and through, that loves this culture they call hip hop.. I want to perserve the culture through dope lyrics, samples, hard drums, story telling, concepts, hooks, song structure, all while remaining true to my Texas roots. Last but not least Trill Is a word that was originated Port Arthur, Texas. Not Atlanta, not Mississippi, not Alabama, not Florida, this is a Texas word, and I feel it is my duty being an artist from Texas to make sure the world understands this.. This lifestyle we live in Texas especially Houston, in my opinion has been marginalized by people who only wanted to profit off our sound and culture, and not put anything of real value into it.. I dont want to rant too much but I just wanted to shed some light on this #trillhiphop shit

I have a plethora (big word) of music that is sitting around and has never been heard by people outside of my immediate friends, and in some cases even my immediate friends haven’t heard some of these songs.. This is the 3rd edition of my vault series, and I decided to keep the song list shorter then the previous two. Now you must consider the reason why I haven released these songs. Maybe the proper word is reasons, but in some cases they needed to be mixed and the original track has been lost, a couple of these songs are really just mixtape records. So here is the scenario, You get a female on the phone and you two get into some adult conversation. She starts talking about what she wants done to her, and you start telling her how you will do it. For example I would play something like seems like your ready by R.Kelly, or something in that vein. By song 5 or 6 the foreplay should begin, thats why I would suggest something like How does it feel by d’angelo. At this point you should be kissing and all of that type of stuff, and men don’t kiss her like your mom, or treat her like a slut, caress her, play with the area around her nipples, the outside region of the breast. Im really digging this chic K’La, when I first heard her record on 106 and Park using the track from Turn Your Lights Down Low, I was a little apprehensive about her, but recently while on worldstarhiphop i came across this particular video below and it made want to do more research. I have to say that of all of the albums, mixtapes, eps, whatever you call it. Kendrick Lamar Section 80 has been the project that I have been most impressed with. When I find it I will be sure to update my blog with the link, but anyway the point is this is the Vault 2. From 2007-2010 I was on what I like to call indecisive mode. I recorded more music in this time span then my entire life combined. I really tapped into a creative zone that I didnt think I had, however this cause me to bounce around a lot with my subject matter. For the first time I really had a chance to say what I wanted and how i wanted, and alot of the music lacked direction. Some of the songs will still be released on official projects. It was some great music made during this point, I became a father during this time so my perspective changed greatly. Life changes when you have another life to support, its still tough at times but I refuse to make excuses about being a father.. Thats another blog post, anyway here is the link to the Vault 2..

The Next Link is for a project called Late Nights Early Mornings, this project was never intended to be released. I was working on releasing two different cds in one day, Not like a double disc, but two completely different LP’s in one day, however certain setbacks caused me to scrap the idea for a while. In the aftermath of this I was left was a major surplus of great music, So i decided to pick a few songs that I thought meshed well together from both projects, and make one EP or really short LP in the form of 10 track no feature, no mixtape beats, project. The next link is to a project called 3 Dayz. I wrote recorded and attempted to mix the project in a three day span at the end of March 2011. I was in a really dark place during this time so some of the music reflects that somber mood. However this is not a project complaining about my problems and whining about shit. It was actually a self observation I needed to make about myself, It just so happened to come in the form of music. I didnt plan on making this project so I didnt release it in the ordinary way of releasing it. I let people know it was done and if they wanted it then I would email the project to you..
